Great city and a lot to see

Very good reception and almost too direct operation. I just don't really understand the false Croatian language. The fish for dish which is ordered shrimp and smoked was really mediocre shrimp were really on the finish and thus almost snot ish and terribly soggy. The small piece of smoked trout (straight from Lidl) Was okay ... No bread or toast, by the way, a lump of lean on the plate. Main course with 3 steaks including half baked / boiled potato wedges, these were surrounded by green salad leaf ... But NO. peppers, or other vegetables are not grilled, so it is not clear to me where the Croatian kitchen is located. The steaks were of good quality and 1 even of very good quality. From there the 4 stars, just like the carafes of red wine, are also very good, especially considering the price. As far as I am concerned, I can come back for a complete meat menu. But for croatian / balkan cuisine and food go to another place in Gronau by the way

We went to the split again yesterday. The food was wonderful, the service absolutely attentive, but not intrusive. In the end, we were the last guests and were looked after like regulars until the last minute (which we really are not after two visits in 5 years). We'll be back, that's for sure! René / JuBaTec

After eating in Split again after years. Delicious food and friendly service. We didn't remember that last time we visited. We will be back.

Tonight delicious eaten with the two of us. Starter mushrooms topped with cheese and the main course was a kind of dish, with 3 pieces of meat and warm vegetables. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. We also received a bottle of wine as a souvenir. We will definitely come again 👍

On Christmas Day we were there for two without discussing in advance. Although they were fully booked, we were still offered a place. I took a Schnitzel Wiener Art there for € 15.80. We were given a fresh salad with dressing in advance. The schnitzel tasted great and was topped with vegetables and fries. You could also opt for fried potatoes with onion and bacon. The amount was more than enough. Afterwards we also received a bottle of red wine; probably because of the Christmas season.

I always keep wondering what is more; the hospitality or the amount of food served. I always have to keep the answer to guilty, but what is certain is that it is of a very high level. Also the schnapps of the house glide through the throat every time. Today we had a children's menu for the smallest, a meat plate for the ladies and a fish plate for the men.
